We like to use glass jars as craft material and we always have problems removing the label. We have washed, rubbed and scrubbed but some labels will not come off. Our tip today doesn’t work on all labels, or rather on all kinds of glue, but it’s so simple that it’s worth a try before you try anything else. All you have to do is pour boiling water into the jar and wait a while. It’s important that the label doesn’t get wet. The heat from the hot water actually solves the adhesive through the glass in a few minutes. Usually. Try it on your jars, but be careful when dealing with boiling water.
