Lately we have amused ourselves with making pom poms. They are fun to make and in cheerful colors they can be a refreshing detail on clothes or bags. Today we attach our pretty pom poms to a scarf and head towards a colorful autumn.
You need a scarf, yarn of different colors, scissors and needle.
1. Pom poms can be done in a few ways. We use a Pom Pom Maker, a small device that makes pom poms even easier to make. How to use a Pom Pom Maker can be found here. How to make pom poms the traditional way can be found here. Use a long string of yarn to tie the pom pom together.
2. Sew the pom poms along the bottom of the scarf using the string of yarn that the pom poms are tied together with. Make sure to fasten them properly. We finished off by making a double knot before we cut the string of yarn
The pom poms are soft, sweet and colorful. The scarf is done and we will be fighting over who should wear it!
