In the past, Swedish Christmas trees were decorated with edible decorations. Popcorn garlands are fun to make and look pretty in the tree. It’s not so common in Sweden, but we’d like to change that!
You need popcorn, gummi raspberries, a needle and a strong thread. We use embroidery yarn.
Make sure the popcorn are really dry. Soft popcorn are difficult to thread on a needle. Start with a gummi raspberry and tie a knot around the raspberry. Then thread a bunch of popcorn, a gummi raspberry, a bunch of popcorn etc. Finish with a gummi raspberry and tie a knot around the last raspberry.
Hang the garland on the Christmas tree and enjoy! Tasty, pretty and fun.
