Dear old toys get new life today as trophy heads on the walls of our children’s rooms.

You need plastic toy animals, wooden discs, a small saw, acrylic paint, paint brush and glue.

1. We start by cutting the head of the animals. And – yes, it feels a bit weird but the animals had probably otherwise ended up in the trash.

2. You might get some rough edges when you saw into the plastic toys. We even them out with a pair of scissors. Paint the heads.

3. Then paint the wooden discs and when the paint is dry, glue the head and disc together.

We also added bright colored ribbons to our trophies to be able to hang them. Bright animals in happy colors will liven up the walls in our house from now on!
